Cattle Smugglers Nabbed on the Outskirts of Meja

Meja: Proliferation of cattle smugglers continue to bother state government despite having strict measures effective across perimeters. Today, a group of five individuals, identified by the Meja police authorities were  carrying a truck full of young cattle. This incident took place at the outskirts of Meja and continues to baffle the administration regarding the continuation of cattle smuggling. Around 12 animals were recovered, who were heading over to the slaughterhouse.

When interrogated, the smugglers confessed and informed the police about the existing illegal slaughterhouses. Police parties have already headed over to the concerned places. In addition to that, all the smugglers are of a tender age which reveals that a long of youngsters are associating with crimes like these, preferably for easy money. Last but not the least, the government is looking to impose stricter regulations regarding cattle safety and police patrolling will soon increase, especially at the border areas and roads adjacent to the highways.
