With Binance coming to Malta, it’s only appropriate that we put our analysts to work and start speculating the possible reasons for considering it as the blockchain capital of the word. Firstly, this region has always been on the friendlier side when it comes to entertaining cryptocurrency and the associated implementations of blockchain technology. Now, even Binance has moved into the Malta; thereby hiring more than 200 employees, on a full time basis. The best part about Malta is the confidence which the authorities are showing towards the cryptocurrency growth.
Silivio Schembri, who presides over the Financial Services, believes that, Binance and its presence will help Malta improve as a region, at least in terms of cryptocurrency exposure. Another prospect that’s closely looked upon is the concept of ICO legalization. Be it the likes of Kakao infrastructure or other renditions, ICO centric companies form a major part of the Malta’s profit percentage. Pro-blockchain ideas are on the way up and it’s only a matter of time that the fraudulent ones are removed for leveling the playing field. The entire market that started off with exponential growth is slowly stabilizing, making it harder for the malicious parties to stay alive in this arena. It is only a matter of time that the inconsistency is removed and only the trusted ICOs thrive in Malta and even in the other parts of the world.
